Editor’s note: To quote the former VP, “This is an f-ing big deal”. The timing is obviously geared toward impacting the mid-terms, and it’s fair to say it just might. Some are grumbling that the effort is too little given that thousands are still dealing with state-level crimes, but let’s not let the perfect be the enemy here.
